Okay this is it. This is the dishware you have so anxiously been waiting to see. They're ceramic (and heavy) The lighting is not great but it'll at least give you an idea. I can mix and match them, so in the end I have 3-4 different settings, and if I use all of them, I have enough for 6.

They sure are cute - and they really match your personality. Eclectic, bold, and whimsical. Let's hope they don't break and prove Mom right! That would be unbearable. If we end up staying in Utah this fall we'll have to come visit you in your fun house with your cute dishware.
Sure will. I hope you'll find an excuse to visit anyways. I am in the middle of nowhere. And my dishware will need some new guests. And let's hope the dishes don't break...mom would never let me live that one down.

Hey you, I haven't heard from you in awhile. I just sent you an email but I don't know if you will get it, the past couple times I've tried it hasn't worked. Anyway I wanted to say happy birthday! And that I'm thinking of you. How is life going? I'm in Minnesota working for the summer at the Norwegian summer camp again (second summer on staff). I got back from Norway on May 20th and miss it terribly. I want to go back as soon as possible. Anyway, drop me a line sometime and we can chat. Hope you had a good birthday!--Astri
Stridge! OMG! I am so happy to hear from you. I wrote several letters like 10 pages long...but of course I always forgot to send them. Thanks- the birthday was interesting. I was kind of barfing. I will send another e-mail to see if it works. Send some pics of norway. Maybe someday when you are a famous artist in Norway I can come visit you. Love you
